Baptism
It is a privilege and joy to baptise children and adults into God's family, and this is something that we take great delight in at Summer Hill Church.
Baptism is a significant event with the person or parents and godparents making big promises to follow Jesus and be part of the life of the church. We are very keen that you understand the nature and magnitude of the promises being made and a member of the ministry staff would be keen to meet up with you so they can help you understand them.
It often takes a few months between being in contact with the church and when the actual baptism takes place.
People often find the baptism of a child is a great opportunity to reconnect with God and their local church so be prepared to make the most of the opportunity.
