Chris Braga | Senior Pastor

Chris grew up in Summer Hill and has returned as the Senior Pastor of our church. He trained as an Electrical Engineer, worked as a Science Teacher and now loves to help people become and grow as Christians.

He and Beth have six children who all make the household a lot of fun. Chris enjoys doing things with the family, graphic design and swimming in the Colo River.

Andy Hobbs | Summer Hill @ Six Pastor

A graphic + web designer by trade, Andy joined the staff at Summer Hill Church in early 2009 after moving with his wife Keris into the Summer Hill area in 2008.

Andy and Keris are keen for young people in the Summer Hill area to know how great jesus is, and have started up "Summer Hill @ Six" to help make this happen.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys watching movies, playing Xbox with mates and speaking in the 3rd person. Andy hopes to one day be able to distinguish between a good and bad coffee.

Claire Boyd | Director of Children's Ministry

Claire has just finished three years at Moore Theological College and is thrilled to be working at Summer Hill directing the children's ministry. She is married to Mark and they live in Ashfield, where they've been since late 2007. Claire has a background in design, administration and teaching the bible to children and university students.

Claire loves introducing children to Jesus and is most looking forward to seeing children come to love him as their King this year. Her role includes looking after Protestant Scripture @ Summer Hill Public, Splash and Kids Church on Sunday mornings.

Gavin Oram | Student Minister

Gavin is loving his 2nd year studying at Moore Theological College.

He is married to Lara and they have recently become parents to Ray. Gavin and Lara are both really enjoying being parents, but really feel the weight of responsibility in raising Ray to love and serve our Lord Jesus.

Gavin is thoroughly enjoying ministering to the Summer Hill Morning Church congregation and is excited and pleased that he will be able to stay on board next year also.

Judy Robers | Friendship Group Co-ordinator

Judy starting working as the Friendship Group co-ordinator in August 2004 and enjoys contact with these lovely people and spending time studying the Bible with them and doing fun activities on Saturday Afternoons. Judy was previously very involved with Northmead Anglican Church and has been plauing the organ at Winston Hills Angican Retirement Village for the past seventeen years.

She has four daughters living in four different states of Australia and nine grandchildren who she loves visiting and spending time with. She is also very insterested in aboriginal ministry and enjoys going to the beaches on the Central Coast.

Joshua Johnston | Student Minister

Joshua grew up in Springwood, Blue Mountains, where he was apart of Springwood Anglican Church. He trained as registered nurse before doing a Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) apprenticeship at North Rocks Anglican Church. He is studying at Moore Theological College and this year has joined the crew at Summer Hill Church.

Joshua is married to Bernie and they have a little boy called Nathan, who makes life a lot of fun. He loves spending time with his family, drinking coffee, eating, watching movies and hanging out with people. Joshua is keen to see people come to know Jesus as both Lord and Saviour and looks forward to serving alongside the people of Summer Hill Church.
