we are looking for the following people to help us serve in the months ahead..

Student Minister
The church is looking for someone to join us in 2013 on Sundays as a Student Minister. The role is suitable for someone undertaking theological study and wants to be trained in all aspects of church life. We have been in a position to pay for aspects of these positions.

Wedding Minister (part-time)
The church is looking for an Anglican clergyman who can take responsibility for growing our ministry to couples seeking to get married. We have seen a number of couples come to Christ and join our fellowship through this ministry and want someone to develop and enhance this opportunity. The person would prepare couples for marriage, lead and preach at the weddings and join our Sunday night congregation. Experience in preaching and preparing couples for marriage is essential. The size of the job will depend on the number of weddings performed but the minimum level of employment is 1.5 days per week.

The applicant must be soundly converted, able to show initiative, have excellent interpersonal skills, be a competent administrator and able to work in a small team environment. The person must be available to work on Saturday afternoons on a regular basis. A travel allowance for applicants living further away is available.

Wedding Verger (casual)
Our church is seeking to employ a verger for our weddings. The responsibilities would be preparing the buildings for weddings, operating the sound desk and returning the buildings ready for our Sunday church gatherings. The person must be reliable and courteous, be competent at following instructions and able to work well with others. Each wedding is between three and four hours work, usually on a Saturday afternoon
