  • Queensland flood appeal

    21 January, 2011

FloodsWe've all seen the news recently - the floods in Queensland have been devastating.

The Archbishop of Sydney's Anglican Aid has announced it has opened a Queensland flood appeal. Anglican Aid has a range of international and domestic assistance programmes, as well as special emergency appeals as the need arises. Archbishop Dr Peter Jensen said "Our hearts go out to those bereaved families and those still waiting for news of loved ones. Others have seen the floods sweep away their homes and livelihoods."

Please consider donating to help those in Queensland who have been affected by this disaster. You can make a donation at the Anglican Aid website (select the 'flood fund' option).
