Sermons from the book of Judges

Heroes, daring rescues, mighty warriors, cunning assassinations, merciless enemies and epic battles".
The book of Judges has all of this and more!
During our next sermon series: "Faithfullness in the face of Faithlessness", we're looking at a dark and gruesome time in Israel's history as they lurch from sin to judgement to salvation and back again with grim regularity.
Judges contains strong warnings and encouragement for us as Christians, as we learn about God, holiness, sin and judgement, and about the Christ who brings hope and fulfils all of God's promises.
Come along to one of our Sunday services, we'd love to see you there!

Children from Music Time, Kids Church and Splash perform songs and dramas about God.

Festivities continue after church with face painting, balloon animals, games and a fantastic morning tea.
Christianity eXplored course

Want to find out more about who Jesus is?
We're starting up a 8-week course called "Christianity eXplored" which aims to help people meet Jesus and find out more about him. Chris is running the course, and has created a little video inviting people to join the course...
The course is free and open for anyone in our church or local community who is interested in coming along. It will be run on Wednesday nights starting on July 28th and going 7:45-9:15pm.

A friend in need is a friend indeed...
Wisdom comes from everywhere: TV and newspapers flood us with information, friends give us advice, books instruct us on how to live... But what is true wisdom? Is there such a thing? How can we find it, and how can we discern what is wise and what is unwise?
The next few weeks we're thinking about Listening, speaking and friendship in light of the wisdom from the Bible.
